Walk Through These Cozy Japanese Shops – 15 Pics

Japanese architecture is known for its minimalism and grace. These stylistic elements are present everywhere in Japan. Everything from storefronts to residential homes has an aura of simplicity along with a touch of nature. Artist Angela Hao finds this simplicity to be incredibly charming and has been illustrating enchanting Japanese storefronts for her pleasure.
Interestingly, Angela is based in the US but has managed to study every nook and cranny of Japan using Google Street View. Here, she finds numerous restaurants, shops, cafes, and houses, and recreates them on her iPad, giving them a few cozy touches like colorful plants, cute cats, and flower pots. Sometimes, she even combines parts from different stores together to create a completely new building.
These delightful architectural illustrations are so dreamy you'll want to visit them right away.
