Halloween Pumpkin Pretzels

What's better than snacking on mini pretzels? Snacking on sweetened, chocolate-covered mini pretzels, of course! Learn how to make them here so that they resemble a pumpkin, as a special treat for Halloween. You can alter the colors to enjoy this one all year round, we won't tell!

Prep Time 10 minutes
Serves: 20
Difficulty Level: Low
Ingredients for pretzels:
pretzels - 1 small package
Chocolate chips - 1 bag (green M&M's will work best)
Food coloring - as needed (orange)
Unsalted butter - 1 tbsp. (vegetable oil works as well)
M&M's - 1 bag (green)
Method of preparing the pretzels:
  1. Slowly, melt the white chocolate chips with the butter. Stir in some orange food coloring with the melted result.
  2. Lay out a piece of wax paper. Using your hands, dip the pretzels in the orange mixture and lay each one on the wax paper. Place one green M&M on each one, so that your pretzel now resembles a mini pumpkin. If you still see some empty spaces in your mini pumpkins, fill them in by dabbing some more chocolate, in small amounts
  3. Refrigerate or let your pretzel pumpkins dry, and then serve!
