Traditional Swedish Meatballs

Traditional Swedish Meatballs
Ingredients for meatballs:
Onions - 3 tbsp. (chopped)
Olive oil - 5 tbsp.
Breadcrumbs - 1 cup
Chicken broth - 1 1/4 cups
Ground beef - 1 Ib.
Egg - 1
Salt and Pepper - as needed
Parsley leaves - 2 tbsp.
All-Purpose flour - 5 tbsp.
Dill - a pinch (chopped)
Cornstarch - 2 tbsp. (dissolved in 1/2 cup water)
Dry white wine - 1/2 cup
Method of preparing the meatballs:
  1. Fry the onion in 2 tbsp oil, add the breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup chicken broth, ground beef, egg, salt, pepper, and parsley. Stir well.
  2. Remove from heat, allow some cooling and start forming meatballs. Roll them in flour and fry again in the remaining oil.
  3. Add the dill and the remaining 3/4 cup of the chicken broth and cook over low flame for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cornstarch water to the pan. Then add the wine. Cover and cook over low flame for another 5-10 minutes.
  5. Garnish with some more parsley and serve.
